Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Stir occasionally to prevent burning. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  7. Fold in semi-sweet, milk, and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  8. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  9. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  11. Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  12. Once cool, cut into squares using a sharp knife.
  13. Serve as is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
  14. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
  15. Customize with nuts or swirl in peanut butter or caramel before baking.
  16. Try different types of chocolate or add flavor extracts for a unique twist.

Notes

  • For a more intense chocolate flavor, consider using dark chocolate chips.
  • Ensure not to overbake for the best fudgy texture.
  • Feel free to add your favorite nuts or other mix-ins for added texture.
