Notes
- You can prepare the juice mixture and chill it for up to 24 hours in advance. Just add the sparkling grape juice and ginger ale right before serving to maintain the fizz.
- The sweetness of the punch can be adjusted to your liking. If you prefer a less sweet punch, reduce the amount of cranberry juice or omit the maraschino cherry juice. If you prefer a sweeter punch, add more sugar or simple syrup.
- Feel free to experiment with different juices. For example, you could use mango juice, guava juice, or passion fruit juice.
- For an adult version of the punch, you can add rum, vodka, or tequila. Start with a small amount and taste as you go.
- Use frozen pineapple chunks or cranberries to help keep the punch cold without diluting it as much as ice cubes would.
- If you want to reduce the sweetness, substitute some of the ginger ale with sparkling water or club soda.
- Add a teaspoon of orange or lime zest to the juice mixture for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
- Add a pinch of ground cinnamon or nutmeg to the juice mixture for a warm, festive flavor.
- For a more festive presentation, consider serving the punch in a large glass dispenser with a spigot. This makes it easy for guests to serve themselves. You can also decorate the punch bowl with fresh flowers or greenery.
