Description

Enjoy a refreshing Patrón Strawberry Blue Hawaiian Cocktail, a perfect blend of tequila, blue curaçao, coconut cream, and fresh strawberry puree. Ideal for summer gatherings or relaxing evenings, this vibrant drink is garnished with fresh strawberries and blueberries, creating a delightful tropical experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz Patrón Silver Tequila
  • 1 oz blue curaçao
  • 1 oz coconut cream
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz strawberry puree (fresh or store-bought)
  • 1 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Fresh strawberries, for garnish
  • Blueberries, for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: lime wheel, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by washing about 1 cup of fresh strawberries. Remove the green tops and any blemishes.
  2. Place the cleaned strawberries in a blender. If desired, add a tablespoon of sugar or honey for sweetness.
  3. Blend the strawberries on high until smooth. For a chunkier texture, pulse the blender a few times.
  4. Pour the strawberry puree through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl to remove the seeds. Set aside.
  5. In a cocktail shaker, combine the Patrón Silver Tequila, blue curaçao, coconut cream, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup.
  6. Add a generous amount of ice cubes to the shaker.
  7. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well mixed and chilled.
  8. Grab a tall or hurricane glass and fill it halfway with ice cubes.
  9. Carefully strain the blue curaçao mixture into the glass over the ice.
  10. Slowly pour the strawberry puree over the back of a spoon into the glass to create a layered effect.
  11. Drizzle a splash of coconut cream on top for extra tropical flair.
  12. Garnish with fresh strawberries and blueberries, either in the drink or on a cocktail pick.
  13. Optionally, add a lime wheel on the rim for added color.
  14. Serve immediately with a straw or cocktail stirrer, allowing guests to mix the layers as they sip.
  15. Encourage guests to admire the drink’s vibrant colors and fresh garnishes before enjoying.

Notes

  • For larger batches, multiply the ingredients by the number of servings needed and mix in a pitcher.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute tequila with coconut water and blue curaçao with blue sports drink or blue raspberry syrup, adjusting sweetness as needed.
  • Feel free to experiment with different fruits for the puree, such as mango or pineapple.
