  • Total Time: 135 minutes
  • Yield: 4 cups 1x

Description

Easy and delicious Oreo dip made with cream cheese, sugar, whipped topping, and lots of Oreo cookies! Perfect for parties, potlucks, or a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (16 ounce) package Oreo cookies, divided
  • 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. Prepare Oreo Crumbs: Separate about 20 Oreos and set aside for topping. Crush the remaining Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or a resealable bag and rolling pin.
  2. Make Cream Cheese Base: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add Milk and Vanilla: Add the milk and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture and mix until well incorporated.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Gently fold in the Oreo crumbs into the cream cheese base until evenly distributed.
  5. Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until just combined.
  6. Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
  7. Prepare Topping (Optional): Crush the reserved 20 Oreos into smaller pieces.
  8. Serve: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with crushed Oreo topping. Serve with Oreo cookies, graham crackers, pretzels, or other dippers.
