Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons harissa paste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the harissa paste, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Whisk until well blended and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Cover the dish with plastic wrap or seal the bag tightly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- Remove the marinated salmon from the refrigerator. Place the fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the top. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Prepare your serving platter. Once the salmon is cooked, carefully transfer the fillets to the platter using a spatula. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
