- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small, microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted. Alternatively, melt in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Add the minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley to the melted butter.
- Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
- Prepare Pizza Dough: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. Stretch the dough to a 12×16 inch rectangle if desired.
- Assemble Pizza Rolls: Brush the entire surface of the pizza dough with the prepared garlic butter.
- Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the garlic butter.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the bacon.
- Starting from one of the long edges, tightly roll up the pizza dough into a log.
- Slice the log into 1-inch thick rolls.
- Place the pizza rolls, cut-side up, on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each roll.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pizza rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Cool Slightly: Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve: Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired. Garnish with extra parsley or Parmesan cheese, if desired.
