- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)
Instructions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the softened butter.
- Add the minced garlic to the bowl.
- Sprinkle in the dried parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Mix everything together until well combined.
- Set the garlic butter aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
- Mix the cheeses together until well combined.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the loaf of bread into thick pieces, about 1 inch thick.
- Spread a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
- Sprinkle a handful of the cheese mixture on top of each slice.
- Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
