Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for an extra treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Optional: celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the chicken tenders under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In the first bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. In the second bowl, beat the eggs.
  5. In the third bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
  6. Dip each chicken tender into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally into the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well coated.
  7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  8. Place the breaded chicken tenders on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).
  10. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat, then stir in the buffalo sauce until well combined.
  11. Once baked, place the chicken tenders in a large bowl and pour the buffalo sauce over them. Toss gently to coat.
  12. For a caramelized finish, return the coated tenders to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  13. Transfer the coated chicken tenders to a serving platter.
  14. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding grated Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Adjust the spiciness of the buffalo sauce to your preference by adding cayenne pepper or using a hotter sauce.
