Instructions

- If the chicken breasts are thick, pound them to an even thickness of about ½ inch using a meat mallet or rolling pin, placing them between two sheets of plastic wrap or parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Add the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (2-4 hours for more flavor).
- While marinating, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- After marinating, place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet, spaced evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
- For a crispy finish, turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, watching closely to prevent burning.
